Maryport Food Pantry

Alert message sent 06/12/2018 18:08:00

Information sent on behalf of Cumbria County Council

 Maryport Food Pantry
Friday 7 December 18
11am - 1pm
The Settlement @ Castle Hill, Maryport

Maryport Food Pantry is a new joint venture between Castle Hill Trust, Cumbria County Council, Allerdale Borough Council and FareShare.
Castle Hill Trust is setting up a monthly food pantry to assist individuals and families by providing free food during tough economic times (donations will also be taken for those who can afford to make them)

FareShare receive in-date, quality food which is surplus to requirement by suppliers. They work with charities and community groups to ensure that food is re-distributed to those who  need it. Cumbria County Council has funded FareShare to support the Maryport Food Pantry to get it up and running.

Come along and join us for the first Food Pantry on the Friday 7 December between 11am-1pm. In addition to the food, which will be available from Fareshare, free refreshments will be provided. (Poster attached)
