Information appeal - assault Talkin Tarn Brampton

Information sent on behalf of Cumbria Police

At around 1.20pm on 30th August 2019, police were called to a report of a man having been assaulted by a road adjacent to the railway line, north of Talkin Tarn, Brampton

The offender left the scene in a dark coloured pick-up with a silver, double wheel based farm trailer on the back, similar to a cattle transporter. It is believed a second person was in the vehicle.

The attacker was described as being around 25 and around 5ft 9ins tall. He was wearing a dark coloured jacket with a grey hoody, blue jeans and white trainers and wore a baseball cap. He spoke with an eastern European accent.

Police seeking information on vehicle, attacker or incident.
